Nuestro segundo día ha sido un poco de transición antes de que empiecen de nuevo los vientos de Levante. Comenzamos el día con una breve parada para ver dos mochuelos cerca de Zahara. Ya en la playa de los Lances tuvimos buenas imágenes de gaviotas de Audouin, patiamarilla, reidora y sombría. En el mar buen movimiento de pardelas cenicientas y algunas baleares, también alcatraces. En cuanto a limícolas lo más destacable un par de correlimos gordos, dos agujas colipintas, correlimos tridáctilos y comunes y chorlitejo patinegro. También un grupo de charranes patinegros. Ni rastro de charranes bengalíes.
La siguiente parada fue en Cazalla donde los pájaros volaban bastante alto. Lo más destacado aquí el gran movimiento de buitres cercano a una carroña, alimoches, calzadas, culebreras y dos cigüeñas negras. También un bando de unas 150 cigüeñas blancas.
Después de comer nos dirigimos al observatorio de el Algarrobo. De nuevo pájaros bastante altos con paso de vencejos reales y algún pálido, aguiluchos laguneros, gavilán, alimoche y un buitre de Ruppell muy arriba. Foto testimonial.
Finalmente hemos acabado en La Janda con registros de martín pescador, martinete, bando de moritos mezclados con cigüeñas blancas, andarríos grande y aguilucho cenizo.

Our second day has been a kind of transitional day before the Eastern winds start again. We have begun doing a brief stop near Zahara to see a couple of Little Owls, one of them definetely a young bird. At Los Lances beach, our first proper stop, we had good views of Audouin's, Black-headed, Lesser Black-backed and Yellow-legged Gulls. In the ocean interesting movements of seabirds such as Balearic and Cory's Shearwaters and Northern Gannets. Amongst the few waders recorded I would like to mention a couple of Red Knots, Bar-tailed Godwit, Sanderling, Dunlin and Kentish Plover. There were also a party of Sandwich Terns. Unfortunately no signs of Lesser Crested Terns.
Next stop was at the watchpoint of Cazalla where most of the birds were flying too high. The most interesting things seen at this site was a big flock of Griffon Vultures, some few Egyptian Vultures, Booted and Short-toed Eagles going back and forth and two Black Storks. We had also a flock of around 150 White Storks.
After our lunch we headed into the Algarrobo watchpoint, near Algeciras. There again birds flying quite high with good numbers of Alpine and Pallid Swifts, Marsh Harriers, Sparrowhawk, Egyptian Vulture and a single Rüepell's, unfortunately still well high.
We have finally finished our day at La Janda seeing Common Kingfisher, Night Heron, a big flock of Glossy Ibis and triple figures of White Storks. Montagu's Harrier and Green Sandpiper were also seen before going back to our hotel.
