Prometí que subiría al blog algunas de las fotos de la excursión al Pirineo Central que organizamos conjuntamente Spainbirds Nature Tours y SEO/BirdLife a finales de julio... algo tarde pero aquí están al fin. Aunque nos faltó ver al treparriscos, y lo intentamos cerca del refugio de Gabardito donde es ya un clásico, tuvimos buenas observaciones de quebrantahuesos, alimoche, águila real, alcaudón dorsirrojo, chova piquigualda, chova piquirroja, escribano cerillo, abejero europeo, verderón serrano y mirlo capiblanco... entre otros. También fue una excursión de mariposas... y como muestra un botón.

I promised to upload some of the pics taken during the trip into the Central Pyrenees that organized Spainbirds Nature Tours and SEO/BirdLife by the end of last july. Although unfortunately we missed wallcreeper in this occasion we had good views of some other alpine specialities such as Lammergeier, Red-back Shrike, Alpine Chough, Red-billed Chough, Citril Finch, Yellowhammer, Ringed Ouzel, Water Pipit and Golden Eagle. We also recorded Bullfinch, Marsh Tit, Egyptian Vulture, a flock of migrants Black Kites amongst many others. Butterflies provided some of the highlights with views of Spanish Swallowtail, Swallowtail and Apollo...
